TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. AGREEMENT
1.1 This booking is subject to these terms and conditions. By checking the online check box you ‘’The Booker’’ are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions which form part of the agreement details as stated below. The fee and all the relevant details for the event are as stated on the confirmation emails. These were the details given at the time of initial contact. Please inform us immediately if there are any errors.
2. GENERAL BOOKING INFORMATION
2.1All hair and makeup services are provided by ‘The Winchester Makeup Artist’. In these terms and conditions, The Winchester Makeup Artist is referred to as “Sorcha Fisher”,Us or We. Your use of our email sent and/or website is at all times subject to these terms and conditions. By accessing our website and/or emails sent you agree to our Terms and Conditions set out below, if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must exit our website and discard any relevant email and notify us immediately and are not permitted for any hair or makeup services by Sorcha Fisher.
2.2We are unable to reserve a booking (“Trial” or “Hair and Makeup Booking”) for you until either a payment of the trial or the hair and makeup fees in full or a deposit has been received by us and the space has been confirmed by us to you. All deposit and payment details have been shared via the email submitted to you. By having a Hair and Makeup space allocated to you by Sorcha Fisher and paying a deposit (or paying in full of the hair and makeup fees) you (“you”, ”your” or “client”) are confirming, acknowledging and agreeing that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.3We reserve the right to decline any hair and makeup bookings (including trials) All bookings are conducted in English it is your responsibility to ensure the client can speak or understand English to a level that is necessary to undertake a booking to arrange your own interpreter for the booking.
3.BOOKING TIMES AND DATES
Trial Bookings
3.1Trial booking alterations to times of any trial bookings require a minimum 4 weeks’ notice to avoid a loss of deposit. Trial booking deposits are non-refundable. Trial bookings may be cancelled and moved at any time by Sorcha Fisher if unforeseen circumstances arise – alternate dates and options will be suggested.
Hair and Makeup Bookings
3.2In the case of any alterations made to the times or locations to any hair or makeup bookings a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice is required and is subject to availability. Should there be no availability for the new booking times and / or date the deposit is non-refundable. Any changes in locations and / or timings may result in additional charges. Hair and Makeup bookings may be cancelled at any time by Sorcha Fisher, including in the event of family commitments and events or if unfortunate circumstances arise, In such situations the amount of the full deposit will be refunded within 5 days of the notification. All bookings must be made in advance. No additional clients can be added onto the day of the booking.
4.DEPOSIT AND FEES
4.1Your booking is only confirmed upon the receipt and acknowledgement by us of the relevant deposit. Booking deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4.2Prices are not negotiable. The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the booking (including trials) before the styling process begins.
5.TIME KEEPING ADHERENCE TO RULES
5.1Clients must be punctual to timings agreed prior to the booking. We will not be responsible for any delays due to late arrivals from the clients or unforeseen events relating to artists arrival. If the client is running more than 30 minutes late, a waiting time of £50 per 30 mins will be charged on top of the remaining balance. Customers must provide at least 48hours notice if the client is unable to attend the trial date and time booked. If sufficient notice is not provided for changes the deposit for the trial is non-refundable and a further deposit must be placed in order to place a future trial date.
5.2You must comply with all health and safety measures which are notified to you. Where you are disruptive to other clients or the stylist, breaches Health and Safety guidelines or The Winchester Makeup Artist Rules or Regulations or Endangers themselves or others we reserve the right to require the client to either leave the premises and/or for the stylist to leave from the booking venue upon receipt of the remaining balance. Client bookings lateness or absenteeism is not permissible save with the prior consent and approval from Sorcha Fisher.
6. COPYRIGHT
6.1 All pictures taken during our makeup appointments on the trial and the wedding day may be uploaded to Facebook, Instagram or on this website. Photos may also be used to assist with the publicity and promotion of The Winchester Makeup Artist. The Booker must inform The Winchester Makeup Artist in writing if you specifically do not wish pictures taken to be used in this way.
